Python module packages that don't bytecompile on installation?

Hi all, I run adequate on my system, which means I notice when Python module packages don't bytecompile when they are installed. So far I've just been ignoring the warnings that adequate prints. https://salsa.debian.org/debian/adequate In addition I noticed: * some Python modules on my system

ensurepip in venv fails if incompatible wheels present in $venv/share/python-wheels

Hi, Today, a colleague of mine experienced some weird behavior from `python3 -m venv`; he is actually using Ubuntu, but I've tracked it down to changes made by Debian to `ensurepip` and I've been wondering whether it should be considered a bug and fixed, so I thought I'd try to ask on this list

pypi.debian.net moved to Infomaniak

Hi, Just to let you know: pypi.debian.net is now hosted on Infomaniak's servers. Thanks to Thomas Goirand and other Infomaniak guys for setting that up! (they sponsored lifetime free VPS! :) I would also like to thank GPLHost for providing previous home for the redirector for more than 4 years.
