Unicamente puedo aconsejarte, que no arranques poniendo como sistema de ficheros root / el dañado, siempre te dara problemas. Si lo haces con / en un disquet, como en el caso de los disquets de instalacion, es posible que puedas montarlo (mount) y comprobar el alcance de los daños y checkearlo
