I added Stretch main, contrib, and non-free to my sources.list, and
upgraded my kernel and packages to their latest versions. I'm now
running kernel 4.6. I also installed firmware-linux-nonfree again.
I created a file at /etc/udev/rules.d/10-local.rules

Obrigado pela informação. Eu baixei no site oficial, e instalei de lá
conforme instruído aqui. Estou usando o Debian 8.5 Jessie.
O interessante é que o instalador é para i386, mas o meu notebook é
64bits. Esta funcionando corretamente.

Usei a tempos atrás o CACIC para fazer esse tipo de aviso por e-mail,
porém, tem muito tempo que não sei como anda o projeto.
Atualmente uso o OCS também, mas ele não tem essa ferramenta de aviso.
