I think so.., just check the file size, I have not done that thou, have
no luck connecting to the stardiv site., but I installed in deb 1.3.1
and hamm system flawlessly, it is completely different beast comparing
to the previous ver, have not work it out much...

dpkg -i libc5_5.4.38-0.1.deb, of couse it is complaining about libc6,
just ignore it, and leave it unconfigure..., then do a dpkg for
libc6_2.0.6-2.deb, I am sure you will be able to do it this time, then
you can go back to dpkg -i
I think it will be better off if you donate the money to debian instead,
just spit out your problem in this list and I am sure you will get the
answer in no time.

I had sucessfully installed the 2.0.31 2 days ago, have not working out
about the advantage of it, a major notice after rebooting is the
disappearance of pci unknown, where it used to be coming out every time I
boot my 2.0.30 kernel, that is all I know..:-)

HI again, you supposed to use
rawrite to copy the drv1440.bin and resc1440.bin to the floppy, not the usual
copy command,:). this has nothing to do with the long filename.I will send u the
install debian documentation attached. Hope this will help you.
