you know how to do a full bare-metal restore from that backup, just

play slowly on vlc media player/totem player on full screen. On windows xp

I have had this problem a couple of time. df and du output would not match.
This is due to the way du and df count. See here for explanations :

It would be easier to answer the question if you provided specific
examples of packages that apt-get didn't install and aptitude did. A
full copy/paste of the upgrade preview from both programs would be

I have made some visuals to summarize the problem.
1. I display a video on the second screen. The video is 4:3 ratio
(resolution 320x240). I see a correct display (see
