How do I get my Shut Down-button active?

Hello After upgrading from squeeze to wheezy my Shut Down button is no longer available from kdm and xfce (and restart, sleep and hybernate). I reinstalled hal dbus pm-utils, I am in the powerdev-group. All pm-utils (seem to) work from the command-line. But how do I get the buttons active?
