So I made the change above on white in the file
Relaying is now turned off by default in sendmail 8.9.3 (the version in
slink).
I added the following to /etc/mail/sendmail.mc:
FEATURE(access_db, hash -o /etc/mail/access)dnl
I then ran sendmailconfig to create sendmail.cf
In /etc/mail/access, I have:
host.domain RELAY
