When will we see alsa-modules for 2.4.20?

Is there a reason why we haven't seen ALSA modules for kernel 2.4.20, yet? I've got my laptop set to boot to either 2.4.19 or 2.4.20 because 2.4.19 has ALSA modules for my soundcard but no support for my USB midi interface. Conversely, 2.4.20 now has the usb-midi.o driver built-in, but I can't
