Hola a tots, moltes gràcies pels vostres comentaris, sembla que ho he solucionat el problema parcialment. Ara puc accedir sense problemes des des de VM's als dispositius usb des de VMware Workstation 8.0.1 però amb VirtualBox em cal 'gksu VirtualBox %U', com usuari normal no em funcionen.
