Yes, it looks like we did some parallel work there. My .deb rules for
Ubuntu seem to work fine so far. I also tested them on Raspbian and want
to test them with Debian, too.
The goal is to make the source package debian-compliant.

It was great to discover that you are working on packaging sonic-pi.
How far have you been able to get with the packaging? Is there a git
repo somewhere I could test? I hope to be able to find time to help
