Apologies for my very vague understanding of this area. Any advice
gratefully received.

Adding minimal support for new arm64 port, so package can be built
Package: libx11
Version: 1.5.0
Severity: wishlist
Tags: upstream patch
This package needs autoconf updates (to config.guess and config.sub)
to build for 64-bit arm. The arm64 port is stalled until this package
is updated.

I would guess acpi=off is what's breaking it.
Very good guess

I'm not sure if this is the correct package to file this bug against. Please
reassign if required.
If you set xorg.conf to have more than one keyboard layout:
Option XkbLayout it,gb
OPtion
these parts do.
Does egoboo need an explicit dependency on libxxf86vm1 or does xlibmesa-gl
need it's non-i386 dependencies fixing?
thanx

require some checks for the ARM architecture to prevent the X server from
trying to execute code meant only for x86. This is consistent with other
non-x86 platforms.
This patch by Peter Naulls, updated by Wookey. Not submitted upstream yet.
