Hi,
I just started using junkmail and was wondering how people used it.
I would like to know if both imail's antispam and junkmail are used together
or if it is better to turn off imail and just tweak junkmail?
Seems like using junkmail only would make maintenance easier, but maybe
imail has
Nope...turn of IMail's anti-spam. Junkmail has everything there and much
more.

I've turned off all of Imail's stuff.
I also use Sortmonster's Message Sniffer and Invariant's Invuribl addons.

Personally, I have turned off Imail's anti-spam. There really is not
anything there that Declude can't do or doesnt do better. I know some folks
have a combination of both, but after looking over what Imail offers I did
not see any added benefit to running it.

Right now, because I am wearing so many hats, I have not had a chance to
look at and use programs to delete the held messages after 5 days, which
is when I manually delete them.
I hold all, then after 5 days if no one has complained about where is my
e-mail, I manually delete.

That's interesting. When you move a rule over to Declude, do you make the
decision based a certainty
of minimal false positives or what?
As for SpamReview, here's what I've been doing to simplify viewing of likely
spam. I have an IMail
rule that catches some

I highly recommend Sniffer, although we don't have it.
I did the demo and liked the results.
But with only about 300 mail boxes, I can not justify the cost to the

It works like all the other tests, so it needs to be defined in the
global.cfg file, and then you can set the action to use on the test in the
global.cfg file (for outgoing/relayed mail), or the
Newbie question - this kill list is used in Imail program - not Declude?
No this kill list is for Declude specifically, however, with proper
manipulation it can be used with Imail's kill list.

I noticed in the Declude product comparisons that per-domain
configuration is possible in the standard version.
Does that mean I can get Declude to effectively not process mail for a
*recipient* domain? I must have missed how to do this in the manual if
so. I know how to whitelist senders.

Since I've received over 100 spam messages in the last 40 minutes (from the

evaluation when I have time. This could be either in the \spool\spam folder
or forwarded/copied to a dummy account and checked via email.
