I have a client who is able to go to the online email system on our service
and send an email to a specific user on RoadRunner in Houston, however if he
tries to send it through our server he gets the following bounce. I have
included the header

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

As you can see he is using Goldmine and in the logs it shows him logging in
but no further info. He can send to anywhere else without a problem, it is
only to this particular person. Any clues as to what might be causing this?

We can do that, but then it is back to just releases/betas.

I think the final answer really should be "If you don't like the way that
interim releases work, pretend that there are only releases and betas."
While we appreciate input, the procedure for interims *must* be as simple as
possible. Add too much to the process, and it takes almost as much time as
new betas, and there is no need for interims anymore.

>As for searching the archives, since they haven't been updated for over

Unfortunately, mail-archive.com occasionally has "hiccups" like this. We'll
have to wait to see if they get the newer E-mails or not.

>Perhaps having the release notes current to the latest interim and
>having interim version listed for each release line would be a good
solution.

This definitely will not happen -- that's one of the more time-consuming
parts of the interims.

Remember, if interims take as long to get out as betas, there is no need for
interims. The interims often allow for new features/fixes to be accessed
quickly (which is very nice with anti-spam/anti-virus software), but they
can only work if there steps for the beta process that are skipped.
