Hi there :-)
I have Delphi 7 Enterprise on my personal computer - my new employer is

Is there (if any) difference between these two? I can't seem to find any

I have Office 2000 on my machine and I have
HCLM\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Word\ and \Excel

Hey guys,
I got a thread here (TFetchData = class(TThread)) which downloads a
bunch of xml and then process's it and sticks it into a database.

So one think I did is setup a global varaible - gbTerm :
on E:Exception
// Do Something with Exception
end;
End;

Thanks for the quick response.
Does the exit just exit the try statement (or is that break; im thinking

So if there was code at the end
, and then from within the loop in your thread's
Execute method, use Synchronize(UpdateLabel) to actually tell the form
to update the label.

C.

Install D7 on the new machine to same path as the old one (ie c:\program

Rename this new one (just in case ;-) c:\program files\borland\delph7\
to delphi7-fresh
Nice :-)
