I installed those packages and tried to reproduce the bug and I was not

Instead of Control Center Crashing.
*Nine* (9) other applications simultaneously crashed while scrolling

Yeah, something's REALLY broken with passwords.
I have 3 imap accounts and 3 smtp accounts set up and every now and then (a few
times a day) evolution forgets the password and pops up the password dialog
with the 'remember' checkbox already checked.

Depends on the laptop. Issue still exists with my original laptop

I've upgraded to edgy yesterday morning. In Dapper I only got a vague
error message, now I got Bug Buddy with the attached backtrace.
gnome-pilot still only syncs the address book, but I do get an error
message after the first succesful sync part.

developer seems determined to not implement it. I'm going to close this
bug too, as we're unlikely to divert and implement this on our own - if

I didn't know about this caret mode, however I use the F7 key ALL THE TIME,
because I use it as a keyboard shortcut to control Rhythmbox's NEXT button.

This is a problem of the CUPS interfaces. They do not support renaming
print queues. So a frontend cannot simply rename the queue by sending an
IPP request to the CUPS daemon.
The frontend would need to access the CUPS config files directly to
rename the queue in /etc/cups/printers.conf, rename

Closing the bug since that works fine now. That was probably an user
configuration option like SystemMenu=false being used. Feel free to
reopen with /etc/gdm/gdm.conf and /etc/gdm/gdm-custom.conf attached
(feel free to replace private datas by random chars by example) if you
get the issue again
Thanks for your report. I don't see a bug in this. In Ubuntu it makes
sense to store sip adresses in evolution, on Windows not so much, I
agree - but you should rather take this complaint to the upstream
developers: http://bugs.gnome.org - there's nothing Ubuntu can do in
Ubuntu to fix things on

Can you please try turning ON 'browse with caret'. If the cursor still
exists, try turning it off again. Does it still display the cursor?
