If adjustment is made to the spin button step and page values we see the
following bug appear. Though the single stepping works fine, when you
click and hold down the mouse button for faster stepping, metacity
crashes after a visible refresh of the whole dialog box.
After spending all day fighting nomachines windows client, freenx
server, nomachines nxserver, on opensuse 10.2 with gnome. I found that
turning off ESD in the gnome control center sound screen solved the
error described above. I had tried commenting the hosts file for IP6 and
it didn't work.

Roman: gtk 2.10.9 used to be in blastwave.org/testing
it has been removed i dont know why
you probably will have to compile it by hand
or wait for the package to make it to unstable
or better, go to blastwave bug track and submit a bug for gtk2 to ask for the
upgrade
now this was off topic in

contains eg. feisty-desktop-i386.iso (herd 4), a single icon
representing the .iso file is shown in gthumb, and at least when I click
once on the icon gthumb freezes while gthumb's mem usage raises to ca.
600MB - manageable with 1GB

You are right.
Yet its a much smaller group of users that even cares or changes the
screensaver. At least a freshly installed PC with an 'old' ati card or
matrox card won't randomly crash now. I know, the drivers are to blame,
but the drivers don't promise stable 3d support.
