directly to cups (via xpp or plain lp) and telling the paper
orientation...
alas I can't test it anymore, since I installed feisty whose evolution
doesn't seem to have the ability to print landscape calendars at all...

Re earlier comment, I wasn't enabling New Login in Nested Window - I was
