I don't know exactly when it started, I just noticed that the terminal was
opening in the upper left corner and there was no way to reposition it.
The only fix is to log out and select the gnome failsafe option, then
re-login.

As far as I can see, this happens _only_ with fixed media. Removable
media like cd-roms, dvd, usb sticks etc. can be unmounted with no
problems. But it would be nice to be able to unmount some partitions as
well.

I have had the same problem with my Western Digital 250GB External HDD.
Although the solution that causes the device to Unmount rather than

Same issue. External USB hard-disk fails to eject, but USB stick is
fine.
This could be a clue - I opened the properties dialogs for both of the
above devices, and looked at the Drive tab. The external
'nvidia' that is, but to me it doesn't look so much like a video driver bug.
Especially not since it doesn't happen if i drag a folder.
This even makes it probable that it is not in gtk but in nautilus itself.
Please try it some more times if the bug really does not occur on your machine.

One of my user's X sessions seemed to get wedged today. I could open

ifup lo (like Shum), it reported that interface lo already configured. Pinging
my localhost did not return any errors either. I have attached the requested

I have the same problem with an usb key with two fat32 partitions. I get
a window with Unable to umount the volume I confirm this bug persist
in Feisty final release, could you fix this as soon as possible
I can confirm this in 7.04. Evince (and gtk-demo, so this probably isn't
really an evince bug) use settings from /etc/cups/lpoptions rather than
the ones from ~/.cups/lpoptions.

this does not work for me.
i am using fiesty, which uses control-center 1.2.18.1-0ubuntu2 and this
still does not work
the up/down volume buttons on my keyboard control the IEC958 Center/LFE
channel, but the sound that i actually hear is Analog Front
there is no option in the volume control

difficult when the user has a long list of wallpapers.
