This problem really doesn't seem fixed, I have a drive similar to one
posted above (Toshiba TS-L802A) and it is still detecting disks as
empty, but I can manually mount them. I don't understand how this is a
fix?

I needed to change out going email account to SMTP.comcast.net
There was no way to enter the account to change the field. The dialog
box appeared for only a fraction of a second before disappearing.
As in the above bug report, I too could not
