I must admit that I can't reproduce the bug, but I remember a similar problem I
had years ago.
It seems that the printing/display problems have something to do with
documents, which were created with some sort of TeX.
You must know that font-handling (embedding) is often a cause for problems.

I have the same problem with a Canon Powershot SD500. It will not
detect. I am using the most recent Hardy Beta. Unfortunately, I have not
tested whether it worked or not before the upgrade. In Gutsy, it worked
perfectly.

I've fixed the issue by removing the applet, reinstalling the gnome-
applets gnome-applets-data packages, and adding the clock applet again
(setting my home location again).

It seems you forgot to execute 'bt full', followed by 'thread apply all
bt full' on your GDB run. We can see the error (IO error 11 on X :0.0),
but we have no idea of what caused it.
Please run it again, and also attach here your ~/.xsession-errors and
/var/log/Xorg.0.log.
The solution described in http://live.gnome.org/GnomeKeyring/Ssh works
for me.
Running the following shell script made all my ssh keys usable again:

I can see the same crash. I observed similar crash in firefox.
In epiphany it can even reproduced by visiting about:plugins.
