gnome-mount -e /dev/sdc or gnome-mount -e /dev/sdc1 (IPOD is third
drive) simply do nothing, while eject doesn't work anymore:

This seems to have fixed itself for me too. I didn't have a massive
problem with anything except web pages (including my own) - the black
rectangles are gone when it comes to linking directly to pictures AND
seeing them on webpages. Thanks, whatever you did; I'm assuming it was

firefox 2 wont see fixes like this. with -gnome-support package it
probably works. if you still see this with firefox 3 please open a new
bug or add a firefox-3.0 target to this one.

liferea-add-feed does nothing in
I'm on Gutsy, on a PC, with a UK keyboard. I've had similar problems to some of
the posters here. Pressing Left windows+t launches a terminal, which is good
- I asked it to do this.
Pressing Left windows+e does not launch my home folder, despite me asking it
to do so in exactly the same way.
I have found a perhaps better solution, at least for 32-bit-Ubuntu.
The thing is, that Sun Java JRE is no longer in ubuntu-restricted-
extras. It has been replaced by OpenJDK and the Icedtea plugin. But
those don't work as well as Sun Java.
These are the steps I followed:
1. I installed
sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread3/install-css.sh worked for me - DVDs
work fine now! Thanks Milan.
It was interesting that in heron the dvds were working, then after the
update they stopped. The above command fixed it though

reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the
development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could
test with it so we can work
