annoying codes being displayed in the From header, while browsing

I am experiencing the same issue (I guess). I run the standard Hardy 8.04 with
Gnome. Everything is standard, I keep my system up-to-date and no visual
effects are enabled.
The save/save as dialog box causes any application to crash, the key shortcuts
work fine though.

For a huge amount of songs in my playlist rhythmbox shows the cover art
of the album Different Class by Pulp, instead of the correct one.
Song, Artist, Album fields look ok.

where did you get instruction saying to attach
If I download the client from last.fm it works ok... I don't
understand how this can be an issue with the service rather than the
client.

Last.fm plugin cannot report back to last.fm (scrobbing) .. even tho status
says OK.

This is a NEW situation, it has only occurred since some updates from
within perhaps the last month:
1) load Rhythmbox, play a track: the track plays fine, but no other alsa or
aoss-wrapped sounds will play; the other apps go through the
translation: I'm a brazilian who like to see the world, I'm 42 years
old, single and i want photos and videos from differents countries, etc
don't understand the rest I'm not a portuguese speaker, anyways, invalid
bug.

Problem returned for me today, for the first time in several months.
The last change that I'd made to my system was to change the Desktop
Theme. So, I set the Desktop Theme to what it was previously, and the
problem went away again. The theme that causes the problem for me is
Clearlooks. With
