I've always felt that the panel clock in GNOME is missing something;
alarms and timers. Feature wise, I think the Alarm Clock panel applet
from http://alarm-clock.pseudoberries.com/ is nice. However it should be
built into the clock applet.
After updating from 8.04 on 8.10, Has increased loading on cpu instead of 2-5 %
there were 40-60 %. I tried to look what process loads the laptop. Has started
gnome-system-monitor and has put a detailed kind. After that has seen the list
of processes. And the program has taken off for this

I can confirm this in intrepid (up to date as of about an hour ago) on a
thinkpad x31. 'radeon' driver, Gimp 2.6.1.
I have had it since i started using ubuntu 3 or 4 versions back.
I'll try the (xor-color (color-rgb 1.0 1.0 1.0)) trick and see if it
works with this version of GIMP.

I'm pretty sure this issue is related to having an invalid keyboard layout
state. I haven't seen this issue in a while, but I have a separate one about
the keyboard layout indicator applet -- the whole X keyboard layout system
gets confused sometimes when I plug in an external (Apple USB)
I can not find any open report for this bug.
The only thing (not marked as invalid) I could find is bug #12153 -- and this
one is marked as Fix Released, because, well, it used to be fixed, that's what
I was saying: it used to work (and still does) on Hardy.

Neither of the pasuspender commands fixes my problems, nor does killall
pulseaudio. Yet I have the same symptoms: Totem and Rhythmbox work fine
until suspend/resume, at which point they appear to play fine, but no

I just purchased the Dell Inspiron 910 Atom, mini laptop. I can't get
the laptop card reader to identify my SD card. However, when I use an
external card reader and attach it to the Inspiron, it reads the SD card
with not problem. The card works fine with the usb card reader but does
not work

I can confirm this bug for version 2.22.3.1 (in Opensuse 11.0)
Please consider reopening so that a proper fix can be implemented.
My company decided to migrate from Windows/Outlook to Linux/Evolution
some time ago, and this bug really IS a show stopper which is a shame.
