Shift-U, the hexadecimal Unicode codepoint and a space/enter in Gtk
programs.
For instance, to input π one could type Ctrl-Shift-U, 03C0, enter.

I'd like to mention that the version that has been pointed out (0.1.22)
is infact the version that I'm trying to install, which has the bad
dependencies. I've looked at the i386 and amd64 debs and they have
different dependencies. i386 asks for python 2.7 and amd64 asks for
python 2.6.

It happens when doing ssh. I have ssh-agent running, which should supply
the key to ssh. Some times setting up an ssh connection hangs. And the

I think that this is not right way to handle a bug that has been
reported since three years and through even more distros releases.
I've just landed here for the first time since I'm using nautilus for
sftp and was worried by this strange cpu activity even - and especially
- after the download
Just another hint that just happened: I've tried to unmount the sftp
folder and the desktop was frozen (only, other app widows would work
normally) then all icons simply disappeared. Killing the sftp process
made reappear the desktop icons.
So maybe it a problem rather linked to the display of

run gimp, it starts up and once i reproduce the bug, everything
freezes, i can't hit ctrl-C in the gdb window. i have to go to another

The version 0.9.1 is easy to obtain via ubuntu synaptic paket manager.
(Main, universe and multiverse allowed.)
I will switch to 9.0.4 when the version gets released. My computer is
not intended for 'gaming' like beta testing, so i will not instantly

If you put that file back, log out and back in, is seahorse-agent or gnupg-
agent running? I've got gnupg-agent running in GNOME and it's not giving me
any trouble (meanwhile seahorse-agent causes major breakage in KDE).

You could try the gvfs package from my PPA (you need to install gvfs-
backends and gvfs at least):
