Well, this problem was first reported in 2006, three years ago. The
proposed solution appears to be straightforward. Evince could simply use
lpr for printing adobe files. For the application evince, it's a huge
bug, because pdf is the standard document format and printing pdfs
should be supported

Update: I'm using a laptop with an external monitor. Laptop resolution
is 1024x768, external VGA monitor resolution is 1280x1024. When I try to
scroll an evince window inside the laptop display everything works
smoothly. When I move the window to the external screen the above
mentioned symptoms
Also, debdiffs are painful for new upstream versions. For packages which
aren't in bzr, attaching the package's diff.gz is better. For bzr
packages, just committing the change and linking the branch (which
happens automatically if you use debcommit) is sufficient.

I think this might be addressed with a patch to /sbin/dhclient-script
(provided by dhcp3-client) to remove the commas.
Not sure whether http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3397.txt is relevant or not

Binary package hint: gnome-applets
It is a freshly installed Ubuntu 9.04 (64 bit) laptop.
On the UI Clock (2.26.0) applet seems to provide more space for the weather
info (as it is a bit wider)
but no weather and temperature are displayed.
