When playing a DVD with totem (totem-gstreamer) on Jaunty, the Go -
DVD Menu menu entry does not do anything. Actually, the first five
entries in the Go menu are completely without function.

/ Properties).
Since PDF/A is an important international standard it would be useful to

I had the same problem with my Dell Inspiron 8100. With a fresh install of
9.04, Data CDs and DVDs played fine but Audio CDs hung my machine. Seeing the
issue was related to Brasero, I uninstalled Brasero and deleted all sundry
files connected to Brasero.
Now the DVD drive
I have upgraded from 8.10 to 9.04 and the Weather Report 2.26.1 applet
does not retrieve the weather. I also get the Updating... and
Retrieval failed tooltips. Also asked in ubuntuforums

According to the upstream bug, there should be an option called Play
system beep sound under the Sounds tab in GNOME 2.24, but I don't see
that on my Ubuntu 8.10 (GNOME 2.24.1) system.
Did Ubuntu make changes to the preferences screen?
