The attached debdiff is against the latest debian packge, 2.12.0-3.
This fixes the conflict with zenity by no longer installing a symlink in
/usr/bin/gdialog, and patching gate to call gdialog2 directly.

this problem here at UDS in Barcelona. He believes Brasero is not a
default application in Hardy, therefore it wouldn't be an urgent issue
to fix... The package ubuntu-desktop doesn't require Brasero indeed,

That doesn't make sense; if I could have found the bug in the first
place, I wouldn't have filed a new one...
This policy also doesn't help the other people who find all the dups via
google, see they've all just been closed out, and have to file a new one
because they can't find the original.

I am unable to reproduce this in brasero in Jaunty. I renamed 2 or 3 files to
include the % sign in their names, and burned as Data DVD.
What version of Ubuntu are you using, and what version of brasero is it? Note

What software is used to generate the RAW thumbnails?
Is it gnome-raw-thumbnailer, based on libopenraw? If so, what version?
Or is something else being used?
Using gconf-editor to check the various keys in
/desktop/gnome/thumbnailers may provide this information.
