When I right click a folder in GNOME nautilus 2.26.2 an select sharing
options there is always the same display nothing is shared, nothing is
selected even if a folder is already shared.
Example: I have a shared folder bilder which was shared by using

This bug seems similar to Bug #298283. But the workaround posted there did not
solve the problem.

I also think the duplicate status *may* be wrong. Whereas #289781
describes a solution of running setxkbmap after resume, this wouldn't
work to fix this bug.
In this case, the keyboard mappings are lost
Been struggling with large directories for weeks - anything over a few
hundred files renders nautilus almost useless.
I'd previously disabled all preview on images etc, but still took up to 1
minute to display large directories with images (for example).

I'm pretty sure the klondike.scm double entry in the list is a result of
my experimenting with editing the file, I deleted the edited file when
it didn't work and replaced it with a backup of the original.

Thanks for the debugging info. We have some more commits coming
through over the next week (I believe 2.27.3-0ubuntu1 will be
officially released Monday on Ubuntu). Let's try to test again once it
is released. I'll leave it incomplete for now until we try against the
newest release.

For the record this is a very, very longstanding problem in both gnome
(metacity, specifically) and KDE, and it isn't as simple as it seems.
