I can confirm that the problem during the gdm update still exists.
Switching into tty1, stopping gdm and running the update again did help at all.

My system uses pam_mount to unencrypt users home drives with their login
password. The last lot of updates (2009-10-02) gdm no longer updates

I withdraw my previous comment. The bug didn't disappear. It just so
happened that I triggered the bug before the updates, then reopened
clock preferences afterwards. Re-updating from a fresh re-install,
without editing clock preferences until after the update, still causes

I restarted the computer. I get the log-in screen. I try typing my
password but it gets rejected. Then I try typing in the regular Qwerty
layout and it recognizes my typing.I am able to log-on. After logging
in, I can type in my Dvorak layout.

it's not so much a problem, but rather a few suggestions as to increase the
possibilities of this calculator.
It's fine as it is now but maybe in a next release you could add a few useful
features like conversions.

This is not a bug, this is me being an idiot. I'm sorry about this one -
it's simply a case of allowing the scripts permission to run as a
program. This information is lost when backing up files, so when I
restored the files after doing a clean install of Karmic the plug-ins
would not work. Sorry
I'm with Erez. Same behaviour on Karmic BetaUNR booting from
installation to 4GB SDHC. See #1 for other details.
Oddly, booting from version created with Netbootin to 2GB USBKey did NOT
give this error. May only apply with fully installed versions. Erez -

1) open gnome-panel properties
2) fast klicking on Show hide buttons and Arrow on hide buttons to

There is a patch available on the upstream bug. I would try it but
suspend/resume is broken for me at the moment :( Anyone else want to try
it?
