after enabling karmic-proposed and installing only the libglib-2.0-0
2.22.3-0ubuntu1 upgrade this issue was fixed for me.
I did delete the ~/.nautilus/metadata directory and restarted BEFORE upgrading.
Don't know if that has anything to do with it.

librsvg though, nautilus maintainer don't cope with the number of bugs
there and mostly don't read those, you might get a reply if you open the
issue on librsvg which is likely the library which has the issue there

The issue seems rather a corner case, who will open a directory, visual
parse the content of it, select something and copy in less than one or
two seconds? To send upstream by somebody quick enough to do that and
annoyed by the issue...
