oops , not a theme bug.
The new themes use option:
gtk-auto-mnemonics = 1
This causes the problem

I do not know if it is reproducibleI just want to watch films on my
computer...how do I fix this is really the question and how do I get this
application/x-gzipcoder that I need to fix my dvd player so I can watch dvd's
pretty simple...what will it take to do that? Thanks?

I've a possible fix in my PPA, in the system-tools-backends. Could you install
my package from

when it's ready (in about 2h), and test if that works?

The attached patch prevents a system from going to sleep when lid is
closed and it is docked. It contains a lot of debug output, just in
case.
