and it shows the same result.
firefox is open, i click on file, open file, doubleclick on a file on my desktop
and firefox opens an other file not that one i selected.

For what it's worth, I can confirm this problem in Jaunty as well. I
also upgraded from Intrepid, but had the problem originally there as
well. (Actually, I think Intrepid was an upgrade from an initial Hardy
install as well.)
Does anyone experience this bug on a fresh install of Jaunty or a
not sure what system you are using but it's not the standard ubuntu
dialog which has a left side list with standard locations, etc, it's
neither a nautilus or gtk issue
