There was a new Ubuntu partial upgrade so I did it, nautilus UI is a
different, but the problem persists, the temporary solution is to kill
nautilus with pkill command then to launch nautilus with --no-desktop
argument.
And when I launch nautilus within the terminal, the errors are more

Yeah, it seems that way. But I don't think this is just in my case. I'm
experiencing the exact behaviour discussed in this bug. Sometimes (not
regularly, maybe on every 3rd or 4th start-up) right after logging-in
the desktop appears with the gnome default-theme. There is no gnome-
settings-daemon
i hate this bug, i'm using Chrome and it's a pain to scroll long pages.

Hello aliasbody,
I hava same problem, Nautilus is very slow to open any folder in my disc (have
an delay to open any folders).
When lauch Nautilus with admin, folders open quickly.
I disabled all the viewing options in Nautilus, but still not solved the
problem.
I do not know how to reproduce
I think there are too many different dialogs involved. We have:
option 1) you press Print Screen and you get a dialogue with no options other
than saving the screenshot
option 2) you run --interactive which gives you a dialog with options, followed
by the dialog from option 1

When typing a response in a chat room in Empathy (IRC to be specific),
the width of the window expands continuously (keeping approx. 200-300
pixels padding on the right of the response).
