In precise beta 2, Totem fails to plays mp4 files downloaded from youtube via
Minitube or the Firefox DownloaHhelper plugin.
Totem does not crash, but displays a black screen.
As a result, totem-video-thumbnailer fails to create a proper snapshot to be
used as a thumbnail
2 things regarding this... Now that I've had a user with encrypted home,
he's been removed, and then re-added. using:
$ userdel uname
and
$ adduser --encrypt-home uname
I now get (what is to me) an irremovable error:
ERROR: wrapped-passphrase file already exists, use --force to overwrite.
This is exactly the reason why I really start to dislike ubuntu ... it
seems like we want you to use overlay-scrollbars, and the Ambiance
theme, otherwise you may get a broken desktop.

wanted to know whether anyone still has this using System Monitor 3.4.0
from Precise, as there have been lots of changes and improvements in
System Monitor in this cycle, and some were to address long closing
time. Which

launches evince, but then crashes almost half of the times. Only after
two or sometimes three trials can the file be read.
