with GDM3 and the latest version of gnome-session. Guess I'll release
Ubuntu Unity 22.04 with GDM instead of lightdm since it's too late to

This is very similar to bug #1966418, but only concerns the email edit

Before bug #1966418 was fixed, Evolution did not display email contents
when running under Wayland. Starting Evolution with
WEBKIT_DISABLE_COMPOSITING_MODE=1 worked around the issue.

helli, I just turned off all extension and restarted but this is still
happening. I did however notice that I don't have this issue if I log in
using Ubuntu on Xorg so it might be Wayland related.
