Since the update to maverick meerkat empathy shows me that I could make
a video/audio call to my ICQ-Contacts (there is this little webcam
symbol). But if I try to call them, the connection to ICQ is stopped and

I've had the same problem with sshfs, referring to the remote machine by
its winbind name. If I try to browse the mount while the machine is off
the network, nautilus freezes, and any attempts to restart it give me

Actually, never mind. Didn't read the report carefully enough. I can't
seem to be able to burn a regular CD-R from my internal burner from ANY
software (brasero and gnomebaker both failed in the same way). External
driver over USB seemed to work fine, though.

In ubuntu 9.10 I had compiz running, now in 10.04 I don't and the
problems disappeared. Therefore it was either being caused by compiz
(most likely) or by an older version of the program. I'll try running
compiz and seeing if the bug reappears.

Just a note regarding affected users: I saw this bug of other 2 machines
(uncle and dad), but didn't subscribed them to the bug list in order to
prevent duplicates.
So, consider happenings like this in your affected users count.
