Using the Keyring manager, I found that I had a keyring called
'session'. I tried to delete it, got a message saying that it could not
communicate with the GNOME keyring daemon, and then it crashed. A
backtrace attachment is forthcoming.

Revisiting this a few weeks later: I had some time to fiddle with the
Google sidebar, but it turns out I'm not a very good JS hacker. :(
Could we add the default Google sidebar for now and maybe I (or anyone
else) could work on getting a nice Ubuntu one worked up down the road,

This is in Dapper, and my gdb was -dbg. However, I just found out
through a long and arduous process that my CD/DVD drive in this laptop
is bad. I just now took out the drive and restarted and haven't noticed
the problem with RB. (Last time I tried was yesterday.)

Rhythmbox has been unusable for me for a while now on my laptop (a Dell
Inspiron 6000). When I start it, it will freeze
I say y'all stop whining. If you want Xchat, you can install it. Gaim does
IRC fine enough for use (it's all I use, actually), and it's a fine base client
for those that don't use IRC often (whom Ubuntu is targetting AFAIK).
