I also use an Authentec AES2501 sensor and have today made the switch to
your PPA.
There have been no problems. Logging in, sudo-ing in a console, starting
gksu-applications like synaptic, unlocking the screen - everything works

I can confirm that this bug affects all four of my local hard drives.
Samba shares do not show this behaviour, however.
The bug only appears when the Humanity icon theme (light or dark
variant) is in use.

Entire Hard Drive Marked as ubuntuone-synchronized
I can confirm this bug.
Interestingly, of my two optical drives only one is affected. The other can be
ejected without a password.
The affected one:
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH22LS50, connected via SATA, added after OS installation
The unaffected one:
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4167B, connected via IDE,
I also have no pulseaudio on my system, so I guess we've found out what
causes the problem.

Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon
This problem appeared after upgrading to version 2.27.4-0ubuntu1.
Gnome-settings-daemon continuously consumes about 50% CPU (on a single-core

Binary package hint: nautilus
The behaviour in Intrepid was that Nautilus remembered the size its previous
instance had had before closing.
This was also true for maximized windows.
After upgrading to Jaunty, all non-maximized window sizes still get
restored correctly.
I agree. The bug seems to be caused by gvfsd-http keeping all the
downloaded podcasts in RAM.
