I can confirm this bug on Intrepid. I updated my system from Hardy
(where the error did not occur) to Intrepid and now I have to type in my
password twice.

I can hereby confirm this bug. It seems only to occur when writing a
mail for an OWA (exchange) account. To reproduce: Setup an OWA Exchange
accout in Evolution, click New and start typing a mail. After some
seconds Evolution freezes.

As far as I know, it's not a feature of gnome terminal to automatically
safe location and geometry. If you need a standard geometry please use
its command line options, e.g.:
gnome-terminal --geometry=104x32
gnome-terminal --hide-menubar --geometry=104x32 --disable-factory

I can confirm the error with the following reproducable setup:
- Feisty Herd5 i386 clean install
- start Rhythmbox
- choose existing mp3 collection (in my case located on nfts drive if of
interest)
- start import
