I liked the app solution. I checked it out when I was using Ubuntu. I don't have a linux right now, and I am not sure which I will pick when I put it on again. I don't think this is an issue though. There are more important things to work on. Screen savers haven't been necessary for years, and

good, you always should reboot. linux will let you reboot just the relevant portion of the system, but only if you know how. Why do you want it to suspend on low power? It will just continue to draw power in suspend mode. It'll then turn off without shutting down properly. I'd rather set the
