The FLAC files are really quite large... And especially as the bug only appears when you are adding multiple files (in this case, drag-dropping whole directory). Do you have any you can try for yourself? K3b makes flac pretty easy from a CD. The files I used were from K3b using flac 1.1.4. --

I've tried it with some ogg files and the same result. Interestingly, if I add the files individually, the tags get read properly on them straight away. If I remove all the files from the project and then add the directory in one hit, it all works as expected. In order to get it to work like
