The current version (2.28.1) does not render some documents that worked
perfectly under earlier versions.
The only non-embedded font in the pdf is Helvetica-Bold. On my system
it seems to be replaced by Arial, which is installed by the (non-free!)
ttf-mscorefonts-installer.

Doesn't seem to be the case here (in Karmic).
What I tried was:
1) touch test.djvu
2) evince-thumbnailer test.djvu test.png
