individual files which are part of the ISO image? You need to extract
the file to be able to open it. Then you can open it with the correct

a _default_ and _clean_ install of Ubuntu 9.10 (in which the default IM
client is Empathy) if I install pidgin it 'steals' all my IM accounts
and details from Empathy. The first time I re-ran empathy it had lost

I've found an odd program which does somethinguseful but it's crashed and
caused problems with another componant if my Ubuntu desktop machine. I know
that the Ubuntu devs like us to use apport, but

I suggest off the top of my head one of two solutions: a.) ignore spaces
and treat them as if they are not there, or b.) check entered telephone

Can I suggest that until/unless a long term solution is found we set the
dialog at 'System Preferences Startup Application Startup Programs
Add' to open by default to /usr/bin? That seems to be the most
reliable solution for now. This 'adding startup applications' has in
reality been a general

I suggest that the dialog be renamed to 'Ekiga - Audio Devices' or the
text include a reference to ekiga like: 'Ekiga has detected a new audio
device' or both!

This is a simple interface bug, here's how I found it:
I had ekiga running on screen, I also had empathy running on screen. I
plugged in a webcamera and got a useful popup dialog asking me if I
wanted to use this device as my default for audio.

Since I like to have my messenger clients running whenever I'm online I
wanted to set that to happen automaticaly. So here's what I tried:
