In this case, though, CDs have always, unlike hard disks, been labelled
in binary megabytes, and my opinion is that it would be against the
spirit of the new units policy (even if not its letter) to quote CD
image sizes in decimal megabytes.

does not show up in the context menu for these files, and if you try to

Ubuntu does not open MS Windows internet
Still a problem in Jaunty. I have this sound totally disabled in
normal installations because it's so annoying and loud, but when using a
LiveCD I have no choice but to cover the laptop with a pillow every time
I reboot (which can happen a lot when debugging a boot issue.) It's
very frustrating
Just now, battery notification popped up with a beep, and it told me the
battery was running low. I hadn't realized that the power cord had
fallen out. I reached for it and plugged it in within 5 seconds.
The screen lit up brighter, as it does when plugged in, the icon changed
to charging icon,

I don't remember this as a problem in Intrepid, but thumbnails for SVG
files in Jaunty are pixelated, like they were created at low resolution
and then blown up.

SVG thumbnails are pixelated

It seems that the thumbnails are rendered as raster images according to
the px size in the SVG, and then the raster thumbnail is scaled up for
display. Instead, it should render them at each display size, or at
least render them so that they fit the largest thumbnail sizes, and then
scale them

Autorun icon should be shown in addition to drive icon, not in place of it

If a drive has an autorun icon, it is displayed instead of the normal
drive icon. I think it would be better if the autorun were an emblem of
the drive, or maybe if the autorun icon had a drive emblem. Something
to keep it consistent with the
