I can confirm this bug. Simply run 'gksu nautilus' and select Trash from
the sidebar is enough to trigger this memory behaviour.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: totem
It seems that totem-mozilla (2.22.0-0ubuntu1) can now identify as the
vlc plugin for Firefox. Which is nice if you don't want to install that
VLC plugin separately.
However, if you do want to use the VLC plugin for content that request

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
First of all, I use Hardy which includes Rhythmbox version
0.11.4-0ubuntu6 at the time I am writing this.
The problem is this:
Something seems to be listening to DBus or something and invoking
Rhythmbox every time the name Rhythmbox appears
Hmm... okay. So you couldn't reproduce it, then. Too bad...
I was curious, because some other people reported a similar thing in the
Ubuntu Forums which involved plugging in a certain type of USB disk
which caused Rhythmbox to launch over and over again until you removed
Rhythmbox entirely.

How do I obtain a backtrace of a program that crashes during shutdown?

Four major versions of Gnome later it still seems to ba an issue. This
bug has been known for amazing five years, now. Isn't there a thing one
could do about it?

Binary package hint: sound-juicer
I attached a screenshot of my problem. Whenever you insert a CD unknown
to Musicbrainz, a notification box shows up on top of the CD artist,
genre etc. fields, as expected. However, there are a lot of gray
glitches in that box.

No, I didn't assign them. You can find those short cuts on the right
side of Control-Increase/Decrease Volume. I would have made a
screenshot, but Ubuntu doesn't let me make screenshots when a pull-down
menu is pulled down.
However, I made a screenshot of the result.

Just go into Fullscreen with your visualization and exit with the Esc
key. Rhythmbox will still show Fullscreen in the Mode drop-down
menu.

The problem is apparently that Gnome isn't able to override the keyboard
settings in your xorg.conf anymore. In earlier and more stable versions
Gnome asked whether to use the X settings or the custom Gnome settings.
This ain't the case, anymore.

Looks like the applet isn't supposed to do anything, yet ;)
Anyway, I'll carry my bug over to gweatherapplet. Someone close this.

gnome-localization-support doesn't do anything
I can confirm this.
Furthermore, the weather applet tries to access a non-existant
Localization XML Database when clicking Preferences. Looks like these
two are somehow connected.
