OK, I tried this: 1. Check rotate 90 degrees and landscape in page setup. Preview is OK. 2. Go to print dialog. Orientation then defaults to portrait in this dialog, which is reflected in preview and the actual printout. (This is another known bug.) So one has to select landscape there as well.
