I completely removed (purged) rhythmbox, its plugins, and everything that was autoremovable after removing rhythmbox and its plugins, then I reinstalled rhythmbox and plugins. Now rhythmbox works just fine for me. -- rhythmbox crashed with SIGSEGV in malloc()

My Synaptic doesn't list -dbg versions of libusb (I have both libusb-0.1-4 and libusb-1.0-0 installed, no -dbg packages for either), so I installed libusb-dev and libusb-1.0-0-dev with the hope that the development packages will have the necessary debug symbols. Synaptic also doesn't list a
