I have tested 2 systems:
Hardy Heron - fully updated (32 bit) and
Intrepid Ibex - fully updated (64 bit)
I cannot confirm bug anymore.
I have tested to print several copies of a single page (from test.ps file),
once via Page range, once via Actual page and it printed requested amount of
pages.
I have no access to printer now, but I'll try it on Monday.
(I forgot on this bug - in a mean time I have upgraded to Intrepid Ibex and
I did not check whether it solved this bug.)
I am not using yet Jaunty, but I might try it in virtual machine.

Add error messages: If I am not mistaken, when firstly run, it needs to
generate fonts (mathematical, cmsy10), so the error message is a warning
message that no such font was found in the system. Are these error messages
shown again and again when the file is opened ?
