Happened to me, too. Evo unpacked about 2gb of mails, but forgot the
accounts, settings, etc. The local inbox (I don't use it) was restored
successfully.
I'd expected Evolution to restore my settings and account information.
All the mail is on IMAP servers anyways.

Still a problem in Oneiric with the classic desktop. Just like gnome-
terminal always showing a menu bar (860342).

Title:
I check Preferences/Account/Receiving Options/Show only subscribed Folders.
Then I go Folder/Subscriptions and select my IMAP server. I uncheck the
folders I want to unsubscribe...
Ah. Sorry. My fault. Unsubscribing works, I just have to uncheck all subfolders
too.
I thought of that

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: evolution
Evolution is still slow with imap since it started scanning every imap
folder on startup and keeping headers in sqlite.
That's why I decided to unsubscribe some folders on my dovecot imapd
server, but evolution forgets the subscription status
I'm currently using 2.26.1 from jaunty.

I just received an inline pgp message from an enigmail user and to my
surprise evolution displayed the cleartext just fine. After clicking on
Reply i was even more surprised as evolution quoted the pgp ascii
armored message, not the cleartext.

With evolution 2.25.92 mails are still moved away silently and hidden in a virtu
al folder called junk. The junk folder is missing an unread mail count or
some other kind of feedback.
I tried to comment upstream, but didn't get a reaction.

Please note the upstream bug is still open.
However the latest (4th December) patch does away with dbsort and this helps a
lot. You can try my ppa if you want to test it.

The patch applies fine to 2.24. I uploaded patched packages to my ppa.
I think upstream is still confused about the bugs description?

I applied both patches to e-d-s, the index patch really helps a lot.

Evolution 2.22.3 will give up rendering after trying for some time and
display a warning: Evolution cannot render this email as it is too
large to handle. You can view it unformatted or with an external text
editor.
You can create a simple test file with
perl -e 'print \nx100'
The solution described in http://live.gnome.org/GnomeKeyring/Ssh works
for me.
Running the following shell script made all my ssh keys usable again:
mkdir ~/.gnome2/keystore; for i in ~/.ssh/*pub; do key=$(basename $i
.pub); echo -e [default]\npurposes=ssh-authentication

Hi, I just copied my one year old vfolders.xml onto
.evolution/mail/vfolders.xml.
This file was known to trigger the bug, but does not anymore.
I think the 'UNMATCHED' folder in vfolders.xml was the problem last
year:
sources with=specific
folder uri=email://[EMAIL
I have gnome-session (2.14.1-0ubuntu11) and xserver-xorg-input-evdev
(1.1.2-0ubuntu3) installed and the bug is fixed.
I'm not sure if it works in every setup though, g-s-d isn't really
handling multiple mouse buttons well.
