I think I have similar problem. Seek works awfully bad . Video is .vob file
(MPEG-2,audio codec is AC-3). First time when i press right arrow it goes
forward 2min. Next time 3, and third time 7min's. At about 12min of video it
hangs. Same thing happens if I press left arrow, it goes forward.
Well, apport alerted me about crash so I reported it.
I confirm this crash doesn't happen any more. Problem fixed.

I had the same issue on Intrepid. Couldn't stop the deleting process by
clicking on X or stop icon. I pressed on the Empty trash again and
that deleted everything from Trash. But the first process remained and
left as tray icon. First process have ended after restarting nautilus.

I get this crash sometimes when I put my flash usbstick. It becomes very
hot and when I look at System Log I see these three messages repeating
every second(I don't know is it connected with this bug):

Can't select harddrive in Look in folder: list. When I select hdd
(/media/ost for example) it switches back to my $HOME folder.
One work around is to select Other... from list and then select the hdd. That
way it stays selected.
